THE BUBBLE HOUSE

The Bubble House is a charming, ancient stone-built cottage at Maisons Dessous, a small, peaceful hamlet just 3kms from Sainte Foy resort. There is a regular shuttle bus service during the day in the winter season. It has been entirely re-decorated and furnished with a delightful mix of the traditional and modern to make a cosy, romantic hideaway. The 50m2 chalet on 3 levels for 2-4 people (max. 2 adults) comprises:

Ground floor: kitchen/dining area with modern kitchen in a traditional wood and stone setting. Funky coloured glass plates and cutlery. Fridge, combination oven/microwave, 2-ring gas hob. Mezzanine: cosy sleeping area with double mattress offering stunning mountain views through the picture windows in the roof apex above the sitting area.

Crisp white bed linen, huge, fluffy white towels, and bath robes are all provided.

There is a raised wooden deck area adjacent to the house with garden furniture and gas barbecue for al freso dining, and an additional sun terrace behind the house. There is also a ski locker, and free parking in the village car park 50m from the house.

Price guide

In the winter and summer seasons, the Bubble House is available either as an 'annex' to the nearby Auberge sur la Montagne (7 minutes walk or a short drive away) with breakfast being taken either at the chalet or at the Auberge and afternoon tea and evening meals being taken at the Auberge (see catering options for details of meals provided) or on a self-catered basis. At other times it is available on a self-catered basis only. Guests who book the fully catered option may use the hot tub, sauna and internet connection at the Auberge.

Prices for Summer 2012 are from €400 to €500 per week.
Prices for Winter 2012-13 are from €500 to €1050 per week.
